We take complaints seriously and view them as an important source of feedback. This Policy describes how to make a complaint and how we handle it. Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have at law or under applicable regulation.
How to submit a complaint
Complaints can be submitted in writing to info@caldouncapital.ca or by mail to Caldoun Capital Inc., 3549 Morgan Cr., London, ON N6L 0B7, Canada. Please include your contact details, a description of your concern, the individuals or documents involved, and any resolution you are seeking.
Acknowledgement and handling timelines
We will acknowledge receipt of your written complaint promptly, typically within five business days. We will investigate the matter fairly and objectively and aim to provide a substantive written response within 90 days of receipt, or as required under applicable Canadian securities regulations. If more time is required, we will let you know and explain why.
Response
Our substantive response will summarise the complaint, our findings, our decision, and, where applicable, any offer of resolution and the reasons for it. It will also explain any further steps available to you.
Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint internally to the Chief Compliance Officer. Depending on the nature of the matter and our regulatory status, further recourse may be available through the Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments (OBSI), the Autorité des marchés financiers (for Quebec residents), the applicable provincial securities regulator or an appropriate self-regulatory organisation. [To be updated to reflect the specific channels applicable once regulatory status is confirmed by counsel.]
Record-keeping
We maintain records of complaints and their resolution as required by applicable law and regulation.
